GERMY PHOTOS

Hello, my name is Jeremy Jindra and I’m a photographer currently based in Buffalo, NY. I’ve had a strong interest in taking photos since I was 7 years old with my mother’s crappy Kodak digital point and shoot camera. That interest grew into a passion that  inspired me to pursue photography as a career. Currently, I am working towards a BFA in Photography from SUNY Buffalo State College and I’m expected to graduate the Spring of 2022.

“Photography is, by its nature, exploitative. It’s whether you use this process with a sense of responsibility or not. I feel that I do so. My conscience is clear.”

These photographs are from my freshman and sophomore year of college. I see these photographs as the basis of building my photographic eye.

In my sophomore year I began to experiment and use color film more often. Here I began to scan whole strips of film. These photographs made me pursue my curiosities and experiment.

Digital photography is how I found my passion for photography. Once I came to the end of my sophomore I came to enjoy it again. At this point I focused on furthering my understanding of lighting and photo manipulation.
